Who carries out the Reviewing work?
All reviews are undertaken by CA-qualified Beancounter Reviewing staff. All of these people are New Zealand-based and New Zealand-trained, with experience working in New Zealand practices, so they are expert with national rules, approaches and styles.
What do I have to supply for a review?
In order to complete a review we would expect, as a minimum, a copy of (or electronic access to):
- The accounts (and tax return if applicable)
- A copy of the workpapers and supporting documents
- A copy of the client ledger.
In order to confirm the comparatives are correct a copy of the prior year's finalised accounts are also required if applicable. If there are additional relevants documents/information pertaining to the job then you should also include these.
How long does it take for a review?
The maximum turn around time for completion of review resourcing jobs is 10 working days. The 10 working days will commence from the date 24/7 Beancounter receive the complete set of financial records. Note however, in most instances the turn around is less than 5 days, and we will always prioritise any urgent reviews.
